Sweet Corn

We didn't grow our normal crop of Sweet Corn this year to sell, however Mom grew some rows in the garden.
________________________________________
Heres the steps after shucking and cleaning the corn:
Blanching the corn approx. 4-6 minutes

Cooling down the corn in ice-water

Cutting and scraping the kernels off

We got 35 quarts of cut off corn put in the freezer.

Purple Hull Peas

Here are some photos of our purple hull peas that we are growing for a vegetable cannery.
We have 100 acres of them and will be harvesting them in August.
