Sweet Corn
We didn't grow our normal crop of Sweet Corn this year to sell, however Mom grew some rows in the garden.

Heres the steps after shucking and cleaning the corn:
Blanching the corn approx. 4-6 minutes
Cooling down the corn in ice-water
Cutting and scraping the kernels off
We got 35 quarts of cut off corn put in the freezer.

Oh, that looks yummy. As much as I don't usually like corn, I'm suddenly wishing for some very badly. -especially Snyder corn. :-)
Mmm... yummy corn! I wish I had some right about now! :-)
